Referee Pathways

The development pathway for referees sets out the progression of a referee from helping to run Kiwi Hoops games, through to being a FIBA referee at international events.

Referees will have different aspirations for their refereeing career. They may choose to remain at one level in the pathway, such as their local school or Association competitions, while others will aspire to develop through the levels, with the aim of refereeing in the National Leagues and at FIBA international events.
